Why Solar & HVAC Freight Needs Different Handling
Solar panels are large, fragile and awkward to stack, damage to a panel’s surface or frame can affect its output and void a warranty before it’s even installed. HVAC units carry their own handling problems, weight distributed unevenly, refrigerant lines and fins that dent easily, and a delivery window tied tightly to an installer’s schedule. Standard freight handling built for pallets and cartons isn’t set up for either.
We treat this freight as its own category rather than squeezing it into a general delivery run, controlled handling at each transfer point, palletised protection where it applies, and delivery timed to when the installer is actually ready for it.
